Right now, a mil-spec lower is narrower than the upper so it has a little bit of a disjointed, top-heavy look where the receivers meet.

Thank you guys! They have a sbr length Brn-180 upper. That is a pretty similar system. Thank you so much! As everyone else has said, the BRN-180 is a good option. It's not out yet and no one can judge it's quality yet, but PSA's Jakl seems to be getting closer to being released.
